Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is regarded as a ‘pain-relieving’ treatment where different massage techniques, pressures and stretching help to alleviate and reduce chronic muscular pain at a deeper level working on the connective tissue and underlying structures. It incorporates many of the techniques used for Swedish Massage but these are applied with a deeper pressure using the elbows, knuckles and forearms for optimum effect. Other techniques may be used to enhance the treatment where required including vibrations, frictions, pressure point-release and holding for larger muscle groups.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Lymph is tissue fluid that flows throughout the body providing the body with fresh nutrients and eliminating toxins and is part of the lymphatic (immune) system. This is a special treatment that concentrates on lymph system and is widely recognised in the medical and beauty industry as a very effective treatment and for its overall health benefits. The main benefits include:
– improving the functioning and efficiency of the lymphatic system

– reduces swelling and excess tissue fluid (oedema)

Evans Alignment Therapy
This treatment is a way of gently adjusting and realigning painful joints using gentle yet subtle manipulations and manual stretching. Essentially, Evans Alignment was developed as a treatment is used to alleviate joint pain and discomfort, releasing associated muscle tension around the area. It can be a stand-alone treatment or used in conjunction with massage therapy for maximum benefit.
Lifestyle, accidents and repetitive actions often cause our joints to become mis-aligned the bones do not return to their optimal position which, creating pain and tension in the surrounding muscles. Once the joints are re-aligned and stretched, the muscles relax and any associated muscular pain or tension dissipates.
Evans alignment therapy is quite unique from many holistic therapies as the client is actively involved in the treatment and performs each adjustment under the guidance and support of the therapist/practitioner. The body is receptive to these gentle joint manipulations with little or no resistance because of the mind/body connection; the body moves and the mind perceives this as a self-induced corrective action. No force is applied to the joint or muscle. It is so gentle that it can be used effectively on the very young, elderly and frail clients.

The ‘Complete Detox’ includes clearing the lymph nodes and lymphatic tissues, the application of a warm Himalayan Salt body wrap, during which time you will receive a facial and scalp massage. The body wrap is removed and Himalayan Salt buffed off exfoliating the entire body leaving the skin silky smooth and revitalised. You will then have a manual lymphatic drainage massage to finish the treatment with body cream to nourish and rejuvenate.
