Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is regarded as a ‘pain-relieving’ treatment where different massage techniques, pressures and stretching help to alleviate and reduce chronic muscular pain at a deeper level working on the connective tissue and underlying structures. It incorporates many of the techniques used for Swedish Massage but these are applied with a deeper pressure using the elbows, knuckles and forearms for optimum effect. Other techniques may be used to enhance the treatment where required including vibrations, frictions, pressure point-release and holding for larger muscle groups.
